Napoleon & Origami

Masterfully painted origami on the table.

Europe also has a tradition of paper folding that dates back to the twelfth century or before, when the Moors brought a tradition of mathematically based folding to Spain. The Spanish further developed paper folding into an artistic practice called papiroflexia or pajarita. By the 1800s, kindergarten-aged children in Europe and Japan were learning paper folding. I finally have a website!

For years I’ve been meaning to create a website for my origami but I couldn’t stop folding long enough to make one. The full moon energized me to put this together last night. Stay tuned..it’s work in progress. Loads more photos to go through and endless ideas.

Thanks for checking out my site. It’s a pleasure to share with you all.
